ADAM'S PEAK- SRILANKA


Adam's Peak
 is a 2,243 m (7,359 ft) tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, i.e., "sacred footprint", a 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in) rock formation near the summit, which in Buddhist tradition is held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Hanuman or Shiva and in some Islamic and Christian traditions that of Adam, or that of St. Thomas.

Church of Our Lady of Presentation (Tamilகாணிக்கை மாதா கோயில்; locally known as Thandavanveli Church; formerly known as Church of Our Lady of Sorrows Tamilவியாகுல மாதா கோயில்) is a church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Batticaloa in Thandavanveli.

ISURUMUNIYA TEMPLE-



This is the place where Pulasthi Rishi was live and the place of which King Ravana was born. This place has a written history of about 5000 years. The temple was built by King 
Devanampiya Tissa (307 BC to 267 BC) who ruled in the ancient Sri Lankan capital of Anuradhapura.

DIGHAVAPI- AMPARA


Dighavapi (Pali, "long reservoir") is a Buddhist sacred shrine and an archaeological site in the Ampara District of Sri Lanka, boasting of historical records dating back to the 3rd century BCE.

DUTCH FORT- BATTICALOA



The Batticaloa Fort was built by the Portuguese in 1628 and was captured by the Dutch on 18 May 1638. From 1745, the fort was used by the British. The fort has a structure of four bastions and is protected by the Batticaloa Lagoon on two sides and a canal on the other two sides

SEMBUWATTA LAKE-MATALE



Sembuwatta Lake is a tourist attraction situated at Elkaduwa in the Matale District of Sri Lanka, adjacent to the Campbell’s Lane Forest Reserve. Sembuwatta Lake is a man-made lake created from natural spring water. Alongside the lake is a natural swimming pool. Sembuwatta Lake is believed to be 9 m to 12 m deep.

VICTORIA DAM


Victoria Dam is an arch dam located 130 mile upstream of the Mahaweli River's mouth and 4 mi from Teldeniya.
